Meditation and Mindfulness are two sides of the same coin. Meditation is larger term that covers mindfulness amid other techniques. While Meditation is the practice of reaching ultimate consciousness and concentration, to acknowledge the mind and self-regulate it. Mindfulness, is a secular, simplified form and is an act of focusing on being in the present.
Because it's a 'Super Power' that can help you connect to your INNER CALM. It's more than being free from stress and worry. It's the process of change and growth towards an elevated mental state.
Research shows schools and colleges that have begun experimenting with meditation practice found it helpful for students emotionally and academically. Adults see decreased levels of stress, pain & anxiety and improved sleep and over all emotional wellness.
Meditation can be intimidating for some and sometimes hard to keep up. So, SIMPLE & ENGAGING is my mantra.
I have created unique workshops to teach meditation & mindfulness techniques for anyone to practice regularly without getting intimidated or bored.
As a personal trainer for the MIND, I motivate my Yogis & send regular reminders to stay on track. In these times of apps & videos, this added human touch encourages accountability & dedication to the practice and prevents it from turning into another fad.... now try finding an app for that!
Be it a practicing Yogi or an aspiring one the workshops are customized per needs. One is eased into the workshop by using simple mindfulness techniques and is gradually advanced into the practice by combining the traditional aspects of Meditation like - Pranaynam (breathing exercises), Bandh (breath retention), Tratak (visual gaze), Yog Nidra (Yogic sleep) and Yog Asan (Poses). Weekly & Monthly workshops are followed by regular practice reminders.
